Privacy Policy
1. General provisions
This policy explains what personal data is processed on makeseo.pro (Russian and English versions), for what purposes, how long it is kept and how to contact the data controller. MakeSEO.pro is the website of an independent SEO specialist, Alena Penkova.
The policy covers this website only. Other companies’ websites and services linked from it (Telegram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn) process data under their own rules.
2. Data controller and contacts
The data controller is Alena Nikolaevna Penkova, self-employed, Russia. Requests, personal data enquiries and withdrawal of consent are accepted at marketing@makeseo.pro. All requests are handled personally by Alena Penkova.
Services are provided to clients in Russia and other countries. This describes where clients are, not where the controller is located.
3. What data is processed
3.1. Request form on the website
- the email address you enter;
- the consent checkbox, the consent version, and the date and time of submission;
- the page the request was sent from and the language of the form.
The form does not ask for your name, phone number or other details. If you add them yourself later in the correspondence, they are processed for the same purposes.
3.2. Direct messages
If you write to marketing@makeseo.pro, Telegram or WhatsApp, the information you provide in your message and your address or account for the reply are processed.
3.3. Technical data
- Form spam protection. When the form is submitted, the IP address is used to limit the number of requests: a counter linked to a hash of the IP address is kept in the website database for 15 minutes. Expired records are removed by WordPress’s scheduled cleanup, usually within a day. The IP address is not included in the request email.
- Server and security logs. The hosting provider’s server and the Wordfence security plugin record technical details of requests to the website: IP address, date and time, page address and browser information.
- Analytics. Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, visit statistics are collected by Google Analytics (see section 5).
4. Purposes, legal grounds and retention

The 40-day period applies only to the original request emails. Server backups made by the hosting provider may temporarily contain copies of emails and website data until those backups expire.
5. Cookies and third-party services
- Google Analytics 4 (connected through the Google Site Kit plugin) starts only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. Before you choose and after you click “Decline”, nothing is sent to Google Analytics and its cookies are not set. After consent, the
_gaand_ga_*cookies are set and visit data is sent to Google; Google may process this data outside Russia. - You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. If you decline, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted.
- Site ownership in Yandex Webmaster is verified with a meta tag in the page code — no third-party scripts are loaded for this. Yandex Metrica is not used.
- Tool icons are loaded from cdn.simpleicons.org. Like any external resource, it receives your IP address and browser information.
- The browser’s local storage keeps only your chosen colour theme (light or dark). This is not personal data.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the website will keep working.
6. Storage and security
The website and the marketing@makeseo.pro mailbox are hosted by AdminVPS (Russia). The website is available over HTTPS only. Only the data controller has access to the mailbox and the website control panel. The form is protected against automated submissions: a one-time form token is checked and the number of requests from one address is limited.
7. Who receives the data
- AdminVPS — website and email hosting;
- Google — visit analytics, if you allowed it (section 5);
- Telegram and WhatsApp — if you choose these messengers to get in touch.
Data is not sold or shared for mailings. Any other disclosure happens only where required by law.
8. Your rights
You can ask what data is processed about you, request its correction, blocking or deletion, withdraw your consent, and lodge a complaint with the data protection authority or a court. To do so, write to marketing@makeseo.pro. You will receive a reply within the period set by law.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
9. Changes to this policy
The policy may be updated, for example when the services used on the website change. A new version takes effect when it is published on this page. The date of the current version is shown at the top of the document.
